To celebrate the release of the new Spider-Man: Far From Home movie, Bishop's Stortford's cake decorating diva Karen Burton is rewarding some of the town's homespun 'superheroes'.

In the run-up to the school holidays, she is offering a dozen of her bespoke vanilla cupcakes to fundraisers as raffle or tombola prizes to help generate extra cash.

The only condition for a chance to be included in the offer is that the request must come from a registered charity, school or nursery.

Karen, who has just revamped the exterior of her shop at Northgate End, said: "Every so often here at Karen's Cakes we love to support all our local superheroes and the fantastic work they do."

She is also celebrating the success of her own superhero-style cake, which has tens of thousands of approvals on social media sites Pinterest and Instagram.

To take up Karen's cupcakes offer, please call her shop on 01279 508909.
