A woman was robbed at knifepoint as she walked along a residential street in Bishop’s Stortford in daylight.
The victim was walking along Proctors Way towards Pig Lane last Friday (Sept 11) at around 6.45pm when a car pulled up alongside her.
She got in and one of the occupants pulled a knife on her.
Police were told there was a scuffle and she managed to get out of the vehicle, but her Cartier Santos watch, worth between £5,000 and £6,000, was stolen.
Any witnesses to the incident should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary by calling 101.
