Lamppost topples onto house after being hit by car in Kingfisher Way, Bishop's Stortford

A lamppost fell onto a house in Bishop's Stortford after it was toppled when struck by a vehicle.

A Bishop's Stortford fire and rescue crew was called to Kingfisher Way, off Stansted Road, at 8.36am on Friday (Feb 11) after reports that a car had collided with a lamppost.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Highways said that National Grid utilities was alerted to isolate the electrics.

No one was injured in the incident.
