Little Hadham dance stars make debut
Pupils at Little Hadham Primary School are due to make their big debut on the little screen after taking part in a dance challenge for mental health.
The Stortford Road school was paid a visit from mental health guru Chrissy Boodram, who filmed the schoolchildren’s dance for her television show, Chrissy B.
Chrissy created the challenge to help fight the stigma against mental illness and encourage people to look after their mental wellbeing.
Students recreated the dance from Youtube videos, instructed by the school’s sports apprentice and sports crew, rehearsing for their starring roles during lunch and playtimes.
The dance moves were symbolic for promoting mental wellbeing and each child held a red hanky to show their support for mental health.
Year 6 girls Mimi, Maya, Caitie and Maddy, who represented England at the Dance World Cup this year, also choreographed their own tap routine for the freestyle section of the performance.
