A man who exposed himself to a female shopper in Sainsbury’s in Bishop's Stortford town centre is being sought by police.

The incident happened in the Jackson Square Shopping Centre supermarket on Friday December 10.

The 28-year-old victim told police she felt she was being watched in the store.

“She felt that a man was loitering near her and she saw a male standing in front of a mirror using the reflection to stare at her,” said Bishop’s Stortford police's Inspector Mark Collins.

“As she went past him he got his penis out.”

The man is white, in his early 20s, 6ft tall, skinny with brown curtain-style hair. He was wearing a bomber jacket over a checked shirt, tanned lace boots and dark trousers.

Insp Collins said: “If anyone has seen someone acting suspiciously in and around the shops and believes they are being watched, please contact us.”
