Man taken to hospital after GBH in Black Lion pub in Bishop’s Stortford
A man was taken to hospital after being assaulted by three others in the Black Lion in Bishop’s Stortford in the early hours of Sunday (December 1).
Police, who are treating the incident as a case of grievous bodily harm (GBH), are appealing for witnesses and information.
It is reported that following a conversation between two men in the pub on Bridge Street, one punched the other in the face. A scuffle broke out, leading to the victim being assaulted by two more men.
The victim suffered facial injuries that required hospital treatment.
The incident happened at around 1.18am.
Det Con Marcin Tyszka: “The pub was quite busy at the time so we are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.”
