Luke Watson, 35, of The Street, faces one count of aiding, abetting, counselling and/or procuring destroying or damaging an ancient protected monument and one of aiding, abetting, counselling and/or procuring causing a public nuisance.

He will appear in court with Rajan Naidu, 73, of Gosford Street, Birmingham, and Niamh Lynch, 22, of Norfolk Road, Bedford, who were charged last week with destroying or damaging an ancient protected monument and intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance on June 19.

Five weeks after the Stonehenge incident, Mr Watson was among 10 Just Stop Oil activists who appeared in court charged with conspiring to disrupt Heathrow Airport.

The six men and four women, ranging in age from 26 to 74, were arrested either at the airport or in the vicinity as part of an intelligence-led Met police operation on Wednesday July 24.

They were charged with conspiracy to interfere with key national infrastructure under Section 7 of the Public Order Act 2003.

They appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on July 25, when Watson and seven others were remanded in custody. Two people were released on bail.
