London Marathon couple Gemma Terry and David Ellis raising money for Cats Protection and children’s charity Starlight
A Bishop’s Stortford couple who are running the London Marathon for two charities are holding a fundraising quiz night in March.
Gemma Terry and David Ellis, both 37 and from St Michael’s Hurst, are inviting people to join in the fun at the Belgian Brewer’s premises on the Raynham Road industrial estate on Thursday March 20 from 7pm.
They will be raising money for Cats Protection and for children’s charity Starlight, a national organisation supporting play for youngsters receiving health care.
“We’re signed up to run the London Marathon on April 27,” said Gemma.
“Join us for a quiz night like no other. Test your knowledge, enjoy great company, enter the raffle with exciting prizes and support two charities while you're at it. Don't miss out on this opportunity to have a blast and make a difference.”
Tables of up to eight people are available while individual tickets can be matched up to form a team. Booking is via eventbrite at https://DandGmarathonquiz.eventbrite.com. Tickets cost £10 per person with all proceeds going towards both charities.
