Thief wearing balaclava steals laptop, headphones and chargers left in van in Willow Close

A balaclava-clad thief stole a laptop, headphones and chargers after breaking into a van in a cul de sac in Bishop’s Stortford.

Police said the victim reported seeing the masked offender approach the vehicle in Willow Close, off Cricketfield Lane, at around 3am on Friday (April 11).

The thief opened a door and took a blue rucksack which contained the electronic items, including a MacBook Pro laptop.

Meanwhile, two people were caught on a doorbell camera trying to get into a car on a driveway in Grange Road, off London Road, at 1.25am on Thursday (April 10). They failed to break in.
