Conservative candidates in Bishop’s Stortford’s Parsonage ward ready to answer questions

Conservative candidates in Bishop’s Stortford’s Parsonage ward are hosting a question and answer session for voters at the Nags Head pub on Sunday (April 30).

Cllr Shane Manning, currently a town councillor who is vying for an East Herts district council seat on May 4, said: “The aim of the session is to meet and ask questions of those looking to be your Town Council and District Council representatives after May 4.

“We will be sure to have a blue rosette out so you can spot us when you arrive. Come along and ask us anything.”

He will be joined at the Dunmow Road pub from 2pm by fellow Tory candidates Andrew Turvey, who hopes to serve on the town council; Andy Van Loen who is in the running for a Parsonage seat on East Herts Council and a Waterside ward seat on Bishop’s Stortford Town Council; and town council candidate Anu Senanayake, who is also trying to win an All Saints ward seat on East Herts Council.

Liberal Democrat candidates held similar sessions at the Nags Head on Tuesday and Three Tuns on Thursday, and will be at South Mill Arts on Saturday (April 29) from 11am to 12 noon.
