Vandal pelts Mercedes parked in Bishop's Stortford with eggs and leaves anti-Semitic note

The owner of a Mercedes-Benz was horrified to find an anti-Semitic message on his parked car, which had also been pelted with eggs.

The incident happened in Red Lion Court, off Dane Street, near Bishop's Stortford railway station, on Friday August 9.

The victim discovered the mess at about 12.30pm. A note on the car read: “Don’t live here, don’t park here, Jew boy.”

He reported it to police and told officers that his car was parked in a space that he rents from a friend.

Police are treating the incident as racially or religiously aggravated criminal damage.
