Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on A120 near Little Hadham

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash which caused a 10-hour closure of the A120 between the A10 and Little Hadham last night (Wednesday, August 7).

Emergency services were called at 9.55pm to reports that a biker, who was travelling on the eastbound carriageway, had been involved in an incident in the Standon area.

A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "No other vehicle is thought to have been involved."

The road was closed while the incident was investigated and re-opened this morning (Thursday, August 8) at around 8.30am.
