MP Josh Dean challenges Hertford and Stortford primary school pupils to design Christmas card fit for a king
Bishop’s Stortford’s MP has set a creative Christmas challenge for primary school pupils in his constituency.
Labour’s Josh Dean has asked children aged from three to 11 to design a festive card for King Charles.
The yuletide greeting will also be sent to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and recipients across Mr Dean’s Hertford and Stortford constituency, which also includes Sawbridgeworth.
The theme is “My Favourite Things About Christmas”. All types of media are welcome, from crayons and markers to paint and pens.
Entrants must mark their name, school and year group on the back of the card or include it with their entry.
All entries must be submitted by November 10 and emailed to Josh.Dean.MP@parliament.uk or posted to: FAO Josh Dean, Houses of Parliament, Westminster, London SW1A 0AA.
A panel of judges will review the submissions. Every child will receive a certificate in recognition of their efforts. There will be a prize for the winner, whose name and school will be featured on the card.
Mr Dean said: “I’m thrilled to launch my Christmas card competition for primary school children in Hertford and Stortford.
“It’s a wonderful way to showcase their creativity and bring some festive cheer to our community. I’m excited to see the amazing designs they come up with.”
