No resumption for National Express services at Stansted Airport

National Express coach services to and from Stansted Airport remain suspended this week.

The operator returned to the UK's roads on Monday (March 29) with a limited timetable equivalent to around 15% of its standard inter-city network.

Chris Hardy, managing director of National Express UK Coach, said: "This is a challenging but exciting time for us. Like the rest of the population, we look forward to being able to see friends and family, go on holiday, attend events and visit attractions again. National Express has always helped make this happen and we look forward to doing it once more."

But he added: "The current low level of international travel means airport services will not be not running when we start with our initial limited timetable. We are in regular contact with Stansted Airport, and as soon as passenger numbers return, so will National Express."
