World Book Day: Northgate Primary School pupils on parade as adjectives

Northgate Primary School celebrated World Book Day on Thursday (March 2) by dressing as adjectives and holding an all-school costume parade.

The Cricketfield Lane school also took delivery of an amazing donation of a bundle of books from Waterstones.

Louisa Layer, head of reading, said: “Our children are very lucky and cannot wait to dive into a vast selection of non-fiction to fictional fantasy and mystery. These new books will have pride of place in our school library. We would like to thank Waterstones for their generous donation.”
