Photographer Eli Chenkova wants to bring joy to three Bishop's Stortford families in need
A Bishop's Stortford photographer is looking to bring Christmas cheer to three local families who have had a particularly difficult year.
Eli Chenkova is offering three households a £95 festive photo shoot FREE and wants people to nominate a family who could do with a lift. "I will gift the three families five images each," she said.
"In the spirit of Christmas and in light of the difficult year we have all been through, I wanted to donate the mini sessions to those who need them the most.
"We're talking about people who really deserve something. I just want to bring them a bit of warmth at Christmas."
The sessions will take place at Parsonage Lane Community Centre this weekend (December 5-6), so nominators will need to act quickly to name their intended recipients.
Eli was previously co-chair of All Saints Primary School's PTA, where she spearheaded a project to fundraise for an outdoor stage in memory of former pupil Addie Brady, who went on to Herts and Essex High School and died when she was just 16 after suffering an inoperable and aggressive brain tumour.
Eli's son Georgi, 8, attends the Parsonage Lane primary and daughter Kiki, 11, started at Hockerill Anglo-European College in September.
Eli's Christmas mini sessions last around 20 minutes. All images are taken in front of a backdrop that is made to look like Father Christmas's living room.
