British Transport Police release CCTV in connection with robbery at Bishop's Stortford railway station




British Transport Police (BTP) are hunting two robbers who threatened a man at Bishop’s Stortford railway station.

The victim was targeted last Saturday (Jan 5) between 12.30am and 1.30am. Two men approached him and demanded that he hand over a packet of cigarettes.

The man was threatened with violence if he did not co-operate, and one of the robbers brandished a pole.

The two men were also seen to damage a sign using the pole.

As part of their investigation, BTP officers have released CCTV pictures of two hooded men they want to speak to in connection with the crime.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers believe the men shown in these CCTV images may have information which could help them investigate.”
