Police interest spooks two people into abandoning vehicle in Aldi car park in Bishop’s Stortford

Two people abandoned their vehicle in a supermarket car park in Bishop’s Stortford on Wednesday afternoon and fled.

The incident happened at about 3.30pm.

A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “Officers on patrol spotted a vehicle of interest in the London Road area this afternoon.

“The vehicle pulled into Aldi and two people ran off. A search was carried out, but they were not traced.

“The vehicle was recovered and further enquiries are being conducted.”
