Three vehicle crimes in Stansted Road area and Stortford Fields in the space of 24 hours
Police are investigating after a car was stolen and a van was broken into in the Stansted Road area of Bishop’s Stortford on successive nights.
A Kia Niro was taken from outside an address in Cannons Close last Thursday night into Friday (March 20-21).
And the next night, between 10.45pm Friday and 12.30am Saturday (March 21-22), thieves stole tools from a Volkswagen van in Oaklands Park after smashing a window.
Meanwhile, on the Stortford Fields estate, police received reports of someone trying to get into a vehicle parked in Spriggs Street, off Newland Avenue, at around 2.20am on Friday (March 21).
