Police investigating Valentine’s Day sweet thefts from Tesco Express in Bishop’s Stortford




Police are searching for two thieves who raided a Bishop’s Stortford shop for sweets twice on Valentine’s Day.

The suspects first struck at Tesco Express, Havers Lane, at around 9.10pm on Friday February 14.

According to Hertfordshire Constabulary, they entered the shop and took “numerous confectionery items”. They left without paying and returned soon after, again taking sweets without paying.

PC Charlie Crichton, who is investigating, said: “We’re releasing these images because we believe the people pictured may have been in the area at the time and could have information to assist the investigation.

“If either of these people are you or you recognise these people, please get in touch.”
