Police have revealed the identity of a woman who died following a crash involving three cars on the M11 near Harlow three weeks ago.

Eni-itan Bajomo, a 30-year-old Nigerian living in Barking, east London, was taken to hospital with multiple serious injuries but died.

She was the passenger in a black Audi TT which hit the central reservation on the southbound carriageway of the motorway near junction 7 at around 10.50pm on Saturday September 26.

The Audi was then in collision with a BMW and a VW Passat. A fourth car involved in the incident failed to stop. Police are appealing for information to trace that vehicle so they can speak to its driver.

Officers also want to trace any drivers in the junction 7 vicinity at the time.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "If you saw anything, have any dashcam footage or have any other information. please call us on 101, quoting incident 1337 of 26 September, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."

The southbound stretch of the M11 was shut until the afternoon the next day to enable officers to carry out their investigation.
