Buntingford crash: Porsche driver arrested and motorcyclist taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries




A Porsche driver was arrested after a crash which resulted in a motorcyclist being taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers are appealing for information, witnesses and dashcam footage following the collision in Buntingford on Thursday (November 14).

The incident happened in Ermine Street, near the junction with the A10, at around 5.30pm and involved a red Porsche Cayman, driven by a woman in her 50s, and a motorbike ridden by a man in his 50s.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving.

Sgt Tim Davies, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire road policing unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.

“Were you in the area? Did you see the vehicles involved or the events leading up to the collision? Any information you have, no matter how small, could be vital to our investigation.
