Princess Alexandra Hospital celebrates Year of the Nurse and Midwife

Princess Alexandra Hospital is marking the first-ever global Year of the Nurse and Midwife.

The year-long celebration has been designated by the World Health Organisation to mark Florence Nightingale’s bicentennial year.

The Harlow-based hospital trust, which provides outpatients and diagnostic services at Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford, is shining a light on the vital contribution nurses and midwives make in delivering healthcare services and is urging those looking for their next career move to join its team.

Its latest nursing and midwifery vacancies can be found at www.pah.nhs.uk.
