Princess Alexandra Hospital limits X-ray availability to manage demand

Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow is cutting walk-in X-ray appointments in a move to manage demand.

Temporarily, the radiology department at PAH in Hamstel Road can only accept patients referred by their GP between 8am and noon, Mondays to Fridays, unless they have an injury to their spine or pelvis.

From Monday (January 20), only patients with a spine or pelvis injury can be seen in the afternoon on weekdays or at any time on Saturdays and Sundays.
