Princess Alexandra security guard remanded in custody on hospital rape charge

A man charged with raping a woman at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow has been remanded in custody.

Nicholas Bell, 22, of Little Brays, Harlow, was arrested following reports a woman in her 30s had been assaulted at the hospital on Sunday (April 5).

Bell, who works for the hospital as a security guard, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Monday (April 6) and was remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday May 4.
