Woman killed in crash near Stansted Airport

A woman was killed in a crash near Stansted Airport on Monday afternoon (Sept 26).

Emergency services were called to Parsonage Road, near High House Day Nursery, between Takeley and Molehill Green, at around 3.20pm following reports of a collision involving two vehicles.

A female passenger in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was partially closed into Monday evening while emergency services were at the scene.

Essex Police is appealing for witnesses and information.

The force said: "Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have any information, including dashcam footage, to contact us and assist."
