St Clare Hospice is offering two fitness fanatics the chance to take part in this year's Brighton Marathon on Sunday, April 15.

Clare Gallagher, who ran the 26.2-mile route for the Hastingwood charity in 2016, said: “I couldn’t recommend Brighton Marathon enough – I had the most fantastic experience!

“The marathon has plenty of support, with lots of water stations throughout the route and local people handing out Jelly Babies as you run past!

“On crossing the finishing line, you walk into the finishers’ village, with a steel band playing, and food and drink in abundance. It finishes right by the sea, so you can dip your weary feet!”

If you would like one of the spots, the charity needs runners to pay a £50 deposit and raise at least £500.
