St Clare Hospice to host second feedback forum for patients, carers and families

St Clare Hospice in Hastingwood is hosting its second user forum next month.

The first quarterly meeting to listen and learn from patients, carers and families took place in April and participants are being asked to register to attend on Tuesday, July 1.

Medical director Dr Qamar Abbas said: “At St Clare Hospice, we are committed to continuously improving the quality of care and support we offer, and we believe that the experiences of our service users are vital in shaping the future of hospice care.

“We’re delighted to be holding our second Hospice User Forum on Tuesday, July 1, offering a safe, respectful space where participants can share their feedback and suggest improvements so we can continue providing compassionate, responsive care and support which is truly centred around the needs of local families.

“If you have received support from St Clare Hospice, either directly or as a carer or family member, in the past two years, we would love for you to be involved. Feedback from our community helps us better understand what works well and what we can improve as we look ahead to the future. From clinical care to emotional support, every insight is a chance to improve the journey for others.”
