A Knight Frank team raised more than £400 for St Elizabeth's Centre when they did a six-hour charity bag pack at Waitrose.

The North Street estate agency chose the centre, for people with epilepsy and other complex medical needs, as its charity of the year for 2018 after visiting its site in Perry Green, which offers a school and college as well as being home to 150-plus residents.

“After visiting St Elizabeth’s, which was very impressive, and their need to raise their profile in the area, we chose to support them,” said Judith O’Keefe, Knight Frank’s marketing and communications co-ordinator. “This was our first fundraising event for them, so everyone was really pleased how successful it was.”

Jo Gill, the marketing and communications officer at St Elizabeth’s, said: “We’re going to put the money towards several projects such as the purchase of new therapy equipment, new accessible IT equipment for our college learners, communication aids for our residents or help towards some of our building work.

“These are all essential to ensure those we care for can live safe and happy lives.”
