A Station Road fish and chip shop's plans were battered by Bishop's Stortford town councillors this week.
Members of the planning and development committee objected to Bishops Fish and Chips’ retrospective application to East Herts Council for a powdered steel roller shutter at a meeting on Monday night.
The mayor, Councillor George Cutting described the shutter as “unsightly” and contributing to a “deteriorating aesthetic” in that area of the town.
