Dunmow Art Group is hosting a demonstration by acclaimed soft pastel artist Teresa Seals this month.

She will be demonstrating animal portraits at the Talberd Room in Foakes Hall, Dunmow, on Wednesday March 19 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Teresa lives in Suffolk, where she works as a full-time artist, taking inspiration from the natural world, focusing on wildlife and landscapes.

But she is particularly drawn to animal portraits, aiming to bring character and life to each of her works. Using multiple layers and blending techniques, she creates a dynamic three-dimensional quality to her paintings.

Her passion and talent with soft pastel has led to her becoming an Associate Artist for Unison Colour. She participates in the annual Suffolk Open Studios and has exhibited locally and nationally.

The painting demonstration costs £1 for Dunmow Art Group members and £5 for non-members.
