At around 4.20pm on Friday, May 10, the Lancaster Way superstore was targeted by four thieves who put the ink and a shirt in a trolley and left without paying.

When staff challenged them in the car park, one brandished the bat while the others loaded their haul into a BMW 5 series. Police believe the car has been used in several similar crimes across Essex.

Bishop's Stortford officers want to trace the men in the CCTV images as they might have information which could help the investigation.

Anyone who recognises them can contact PC Derek Lewin by emailing derek.lewin@herts.pnn.police.uk or calling non-emergency number 101, quoting crime number 41/41965/19. You can also report information online.
