Thieves take BMWs from same street in Bishop's Stortford on same night

Two BMW cars were stolen from the same street on the same night in Bishop's Stortford.

They were parked in Burghley Avenue on the Bishop's Park estate, close to the Tesco supermarket, overnight on Monday and Tuesday (June 7-8).

Thieves gained access to the keyless-entry cars: a grey BMW 540 and a grey BMW 4 series.

A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire police said: "We’re keeping an open mind at this stage as to whether they are linked."
