East Herts Council begins updating electoral register

More news, no ads

East Herts residents are being asked to update their voting details.

The district council has begun its annual electoral registration canvass to ensure information held on all those aged over 16 and eligible to register is correct and to confirm if they have a postal or proxy vote in place.

Initial checks are run against Department for Work and Pensions records. Where all details match the register and a valid email address is held, households will receive an email from Civica Election Services with instructions on how to check their household details online.

Other households will receive information and instructions on updating by post.
