Lord Frost, Bronwen Maddox, James Murray MP and Steve Richards on BBC Radio 4 Any Questions? Panel at The Bishop’s Stortford High School on February 7




The panel has been revealed for the episode of BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions? which is being recorded at The Bishop’s Stortford High School this evening (Friday February 7).

The show, presented by Alex Forsyth, features topical debate as panel members representing politics, business, science, arts and the media answer questions from members of the public.

Lord Frost, Bronwen Maddox, James Murray MP and Steve Richards will all be taking part in the programme at the secondary, which moved from London Road to Beaumont Avenue, St James’ Park, last September.

David Frost is a Conservative peer and former chief Brexit negotiator. The former British diplomat, civil servant and politician served as a Minister of State at the Cabinet Office between March and December 2021.

Maddox is the director and chief executive of international affairs think tank Chatham House. The former journalist, who was foreign editor of The Times and editor of current affairs magazine Prospect, was also the director of the Institute for Government between 2016 and 2022.

Treasury minister Murray is the Labour MP for Ealing North having been elected in 2019. He has served as Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury since July 2024 and was Deputy Mayor of London for Housing from 2016 to 2019.

Writer and broadcaster Richards has written columns for the likes of the Guardian, Independent and New Statesman and is a former political editor of the latter. He regularly presents Radio 4’s Week in Westminster and hosts the podcast and one-man show Rock N Roll Politics.

Simon Etheridge is the head of religious studies and citizenship at the secondary. He said: “Though this is the third time we have hosted the programme, this is the first time at our new school. Tickets are available for the local and wider community.”
