The 62nd annual general meeting of Bishop's Stortford and District Footpaths Association (BSDFA) takes place on Tuesday (March 12).
The event will include an illustrated talk by local writer and journalist Phoebe Taplin on great long-distance walks near Bishop’s Stortford.

She has written several guidebooks to areas of the UK – including two about the local Harcamlow Way – and overseas. Her tenth book, Walk York, will be published this month.
The BSDFA's AGM takes place at the New Apton Centre, 22a Apton Road, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 3SN and will begin at 7.45pm. Non-members are welcome to attend.
