Volunteers help Redricks Range in Sawbridgeworth plant 3,000 hedgerows and trees for the Queen's Green Canopy scheme

A rifle range hit the target when it set out to plant 3,000 hedgerows and trees around its base.

Redricks Range took on the challenge and with the help of sea cadets, police cadets, members of St James Church High Wych, and from Harlow Allotment and Redricks Target Shooting Club, they achieved their aim in a two-day planting frenzy.

Skill At Arms Range officer Vyv Greenall said: "With over 60 volunteers spanning two days we got to it and smashed it! What a bunch of absolute legends!"
