Free event aims to help Bishop's Stortford residents become more active

Bishop's Stortford Community Centres Trust is hosting a tea and coffee morning to help elderly town residents become more active.

The event at Havers Community Centre on Friday June 21, from 10am to noon, will offer refreshment and include the chance to try seated cricket and meet AceHounds Friendship Dogs.

Guests are asked to tell the organisers, East Herts Council, what activities would help them move more and stay independent. Suggestions will be used anonymously for a National Lottery bid to run more events at the centre.
