Two schoolgirls suspected of stealing wallet from Bishop’s Stortford Library

Police are investigating after two schoolgirls were suspected of stealing a wallet from Bishop’s Stortford Library.

At around 5.30pm on Thursday January 9, the victim was using a computer at the library in The Causeway and printed off documents. He went to collect the printing and when he returned to the computer his wallet was missing.

A spokesman for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “It is reported someone attempted to buy something in a nearby shop with a card which was in the wallet.”

“And then you threw one of his bank cards in front of Tesco Express while you were walking home,” the friend posted.
