Uttlesford District Council mourns death of Cllr Alan Storah

The flag is flying at half-mast at Uttlesford District Council's headquarters in Saffron Walden following the death of Cllr Alan Storah.

The Residents for Uttlesford (R4U) member, who was elected in the local elections of May 2019, died suddenly over the weekend, according to a spokesman for the authority.

A tribute from the council said: "He was a respected and popular member of the council, and his planning expertise was highly valued, as demonstrated by his appointment as chair of the Local Plan Leadership Group.
