Appeal for witnesses to three-vehicle collision on A120 at Little Hadham

Police investigating a three-vehicle collision on the A120 approaching the Little Hadham traffic lights from Standon have today (Friday August 30) issued an appeal for witnesses.

Emergency services were called just after 2.25pm on Thursday (August 29) to a collision involving a white Vauxhall Vivaro van, a grey/silver Mazda 6TS and a white Audi A3.

Three men were injured and were taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment. The van driver suffered several fractured ribs. The two other men suffered whiplash, one of which was serious.

The collision resulted in the stretch of the A120 between the Little Hadham lights and Horse Cross, the Howe Fencing corner, being closed in both directions. Police also closed the westbound carriageway from the Tesco roundabout at Stortford.

PC Dean Watson said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision. If you were in the area at the time of the collision and have a dashcam fitted, please review it and contact us with any relevant footage.”
