Vandal damages windows display at Coffee House in Bishop's Stortford

A man was caught on CCTV ripping down an outdoor display at Coffee House in Bishop's Stortford.

Police said a trellis, lights and flowers outside the South Street premises were damaged in the incident shortly before midnight on Friday (Nov 19).

Insp Mark Collins said: "Between 11.30pm and 11.55pm a man is seen on CCTV running towards Coffee House. He looks over his shoulder before grabbing the lights and ripping them down along with the trellis.

"He then runs across to the other side of the shop where he does the same thing, damaging the trellis, lights and flowers."

The vandal is described as white, tall, with brown hair pushed back. He was wearing blue jeans, a black T-shirt and white trainers.

Anyone with information can call Hertfordshire police on 101, quoting crime reference number 41/91403/21.
