LEARN MOREFitness fans returned to Bishop's Stortford's Castle Park on Sunday to take part in a Well-being Triathlon.
To ensure social distancing, the event was split between a group of around 30 enthusiasts, selected by a ballot, working out in Sworder's Field and a Facebook Live feed for online participants.
One of the organisers, the Friends of Castle Park's fitness and wellbeing champion Adri Potts, said: "The Well-being Triathlon this weekend was a real test of bringing organised in-person events back to Castle Park. We kept it small on purpose to test the waters.
"Still, we had nearly 30 people running, practising yoga and then doing breathing work and meditation.
"The energy in the group was amazing – everyone left with a big smile. The Friends of Castle Park hope that this is the beginning of a bigger and better event next year."
Adri, of Adri Flow & Fitness, set up the dancercise workout, 5k run and yoga session with Kate Macfarlane, of Coach Kate Running. They were supported by Jo Wilson, of Joga, and Samantha Gilmour from Yogaloco.
