Witness appeal after woman punches man four times in face in road rage incident at Havers Tesco Express
A woman punched a man four times in the face in a road rage incident in Bishop’s Stortford.
The assault happened in the car park of the Havers Lane Tesco Express on Friday June 27 at around 12.40pm. The man was in a car with his mother.
“This was a case of road rage. Both pulled into the car park, and the female suspect beeped her horn at the victim, the victim shouted back and they then had an argument,” said Insp Mark Collins.
“The woman has then gone over and started shouting, had an argument with the victim’s mum and ended up punching the man in the face four times,” he said.
The woman, who was driving a grey Audi, is described as white, in her 50s, with blonde, bobbed hair. She was wearing a white blouse, black sandals, black sunglasses and had a brown handbag.
“We’ve asked for CCTV and are interested in hearing if there any witnesses,” said the inspector.
