Woman injured in Friedberg Avenue crash

A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash in Thorley Park on Monday morning (Oct 28).

Emergency services were called shortly before 9.20am to Friedberg Avenue to reports that a vehicle had hit a parked van near Sainsbury's.

A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "The female driver of the vehicle is currently being assessed by the ambulance service.

A spokeswoman for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "The female driver of the vehicle is currently being assessed by the ambulance service.

"Recovery has been called for the vehicle."

The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle to the scene. Paramedics took the woman to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow for further care.

The road was partially blocked. Bishop's Stortford police took to Twitter to warn road users about the delays.
