Students at Birchwood High School were in tune with primary school pupils across Bishop's Stortford.

Children from Hillmead, Northgate, St Michael's and St Joseph's schools in the town as well as from High Wych travelled to the Parsonage Lane secondary for its annual primary school music day.

They rehearsed with music department staff, students in the school's orchestra and teachers from Herts Music before performing a short concert for parents which included the Avengers film theme.

Birchwood is hoping to run a similar music workshop in September.
