St Clare Hospice Santa Dash: Sign up for your own 5k route on a day of your choice

St Clare Hospice’s Santa Dash is taking place virtually this December and participants are invited to choose their own 5k route.

Runners can take part on whatever day they choose. Entry costs £20 per person. Registered participants will receive a pack containing a race bib, Santa hat, protein snack – and a teabag.

Once entrants have completed their 5k run and sent in proof, they will receive a virtual Santa Run medal.

St Clare Hospice challenges and events fundraiser Emma Broadbent said: “This year is very different to usual and we sadly cannot host our annual Debden Santa Run.

"Normally more than 200 Santas would gather together and run around the streets of Debden for St Clare – and we'll miss seeing that magnificent sea of red and white.

“But we’re not letting Covid dampen our festive spirit.”
