Bishop's Stortford fans named Jonny Giles their star performer at the club's end-of-season presentation evening.

The midfielder, who netted 12 goals as the Blues finished second in the Pitching In Isthmian League, Premier Division before losing to Cheshunt in the play-off semi-finals, picked up the Supporters' Player of the Season prize at the R&D Advisors UK Stadium on Friday evening.

The former Oxford United player's fellow midfielder Anthony Church was named Manager's Player of the Season, captain Ryan Henshaw claimed the Players' Player title and Billy Cracknell was Young Player of the Season.

Ben Marlow's long-range injury-time winner at Lewes in March earned him the Goal of the Season award, as voted for by the fans, and goalkeeper Jack Giddens was presented with a commemorative shirt for setting a new club record of not conceding for 1,088 minutes.

The event, which was hosted by director Ronnie Irani, also saw head of media and programme editor Michael Plume take home the Chairman's Award and academy players pick up their awards.
