Real Stortford under-18 Saracens took another step towards clinching the Mid-Herts Rural Minors League, Division Five title with a 5-0 win at Bury Rangers Reds.

Finn Aylott and Josh Chinn bagged a brace apiece while Adam Price joined them on the score sheet in the comprehensive victory.

Depleted under-16 Bulls produced a superb team performance as they frustrated Division Three leaders Wormley Rovers White in a 1-1 draw.

The hosts took the lead in the first half when Mackenzie Lewin pressed a defender and gained possession to convert.

Wormley equalised early in the second period, but Bulls stood firm against their physical opponents to secure a point.

Goalkeeper Gavin Gardiner was man of the match for his performance between the sticks, but any member of the squad could have earned the accolade in what was a fine display.
