Bishop's Stortford are set to be strengthened by the return of Ryan Henshaw and Jonny Giles as they aim to beat Lewes at home on Saturday for the second time in a week.
The Blues triumphed 2-0 when they hosted the Rooks in the third qualifying round of the Buildbase FA Trophy at the weekend thanks to Jake Cass' 12th and 13th goals of the season.
Steve Smith's men welcome the East Sussex side back to the R&D Advisors UK Stadium on Saturday in the Pitching In Isthmian League, Premier Division – Stortford were two points and three places above their opponents ahead of Lewes' scheduled home game with Carshalton Athletic last night (Tue).
And the boss is hoping to have captain and centre-back Henshaw, who was only fit enough for the bench at the weekend, in his starting line-up alongside the returning Giles, who was at a wedding.
Archie Edwards was substituted just before half time with a hamstring issue, so he will be assessed during the week.
Frankie Merrifield has been ruled out for around a month after dislocating his shoulder in last Tuesday's win at Corinthian-Casuals, but Cass is banging in the goals and Chris Harris enjoyed a good debut after arriving on dual registration terms from Thurlow Nunn League, First Division South side Halstead Town, where he has scored 57 goals in 103 appearances.
"Lewes were probably the best side we've played this season and I thought we played really well," said Smith, whose team are unbeaten in six games in all competitions.
"Jake's hit a bit of form and Chris was very good in his first game, so I was well chuffed. I've known Chris for a long while and he'll be a very good addition.
"We just need to keep grinding out results and playing well. We're on a good run of form and there's a lot of positivity in the camp. It's a good place to be."
Stortford have been given another home draw in the first round of the FA Trophy against Isthmian League, South-Central outfit Chipstead. The tie is scheduled for Saturday November 13.
